BLACK LIVES MATTER
FORTCAST stands with the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
The recent deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor are mere examples of the persistence of systematic racism in our country. While we are saddened by these events, the current state of the nation presents a very important opportunity for us all to take a stand against racist actions and continue to educate ourselves on the necessary steps to overcome this issue. At FORTCAST, we acknowledge that the success of research in the geosciences is a direct result of diversity and inclusion. To learn more about efforts being taken and how you can help in the movement, links to various sources are provided below.

Cans Around the Oval Results
Thanks to all of you whose contributions of non-perishable food and/or monetary donations helped make Cans Around the Oval 2019 a SUCCESS. The efforts of the Department of Atmospheric Science and CIRA raised 70 pounds of food and $476 for the Food Bank of Larimer County. This combines for a CSU total impact of 17,918 pounds and $51,966.53 donated! THANK YOU! Every contribution makes a difference for our neighbors, friends, and colleagues in need.
